Installation Instructions
Step 1 (If necessary): Install the post pin on the retention band. Start by using the middle hole and adjust to make it smaller or larger if necessary. Remove the tape holding the pin. Press the pin and post together tightly.
Step 2: With your hat in front of you, fold the Uhhp on itself and put it into the hat.
Tip: for a snapback hat, make it 1 or 2 snaps bigger than you usually wear it.
Step 3: Unfold the sweat band of the hat and tuck your Uhhp inside the sweatband.
Align the dot on the middle panel of the Uhhp with the center seam of the hat.
Press the yellow energy absorbing material and the retention band as close to the base of the sweatband as possible.
When in place, smooth out any wrinkles in the sweatband and press the sweatband into the Velcro on the Uhhp at the front of the hat.
Step 4: Install the dial based retention system. Snap the wing of the retention system into the holes on the sides of the retention band. Start with one of the middle sets of holes and move as necessary to achieve the desired tightness. Finally, snap the back of the retention system in to a hole pair at the back of the hat.
Tip: experiment with different hole combinations to find the most comfortable fit for your player.
